dice che e’ colpa dei pension funds che si sono avventati sulla bolla, e non degli hedge funds come molti ritengono, nonche’ dice, e’ colpa pure dei governi che si sono lanciati in una corsa al raddoppio delle riserve. Dice che l’america al momento ha riserve per 60 giorni, cioe’ se ci dovessero essere interruzioni nella distribuzione potrebbe anda avanti per due mesi, e sembra che a Washington hanno deciso che forse e’ meglio aumentare, guarda caso i cinesi hanno deciso la stessa cosa e quindi giu’ a comprare il petrolio e il prezzo schizza. Essendo un fenomeno temporaneo, conclude l’energetico Lehmaniano, il prossimo inverno il petrolio dovrebbe tornare a 80$ al barile. Conclusione per chi vuole investire, se vi volete fidare di questo tizio: COMPRATE PUT SUL PETROLIO CON SCADENZA DICEMBRE 2008.

Tralaltro il povero Brown (PM) c’ha un sacco de problemi perche’ ha abolito l’aliquota del 10% e quindi mo tutti pagano almeno il 20% de tasse (capito Ciro? se torni qui preparate a paga’) con conseguente calo di popolarita impressionante. 2) Ha dichiarato la seguente cosa “Bisogna trovare una soluzione globale al problema del petrolio”

according to this guy pension funds are to blame because they have moved huge money across assets, which means they have dropped stocks to buy into Commodities (oil, metals, …). This has pushed level of oil up a lot. Moreover, he adds, governments from all over the world, like US and China, are tremendously scared by disruptions in the distribution of oil and are accumulating more reserves than they usually do, like stupid people do when they hoard supermarkets being afraid of what the media tell them about an incoming war or a terroristic attack. The conclusion is, according to this guy, that in the next winter price of oil will go back to 80$, so if you wanna trust him and make huge money, BUY PUT CONTRACTS ON BRENT WITH EXPIRY DECEMBER 2008.

But let’s go on, due to the oil crisis, price of gasoline went up a lot, and we had protests in London, (what the fuck do you protest, just buy a bike you sucker!)

By the way, poor Gordon Brown (the PM) already has lot of problems because of the way he reformed the income tax eliminating the 10% range, now everybody pays at least 20%, (and they are supposed to be the left wing party!). The consequence was a huge loss of popularity, and so it was that, in order to gain some popularity back he is now trying to exploit these protests and today he declared two things

1) He will not raise taxes on highly consuming vehicles as he had previoulsy announced (you coward!)

2) He declared: ” We need to find a global solution to the oil problem”

Now, if you well remember, historically, when governments talk about global solutions they mean one thing, war. Moreover, his brother mister Bush is also raising his voice about oil prices, he recently went to Saudi Arabia, and negotiated an increase in output which according to arabians is already taking place …
